RBC Wealth Management says it has added an advisor team with more than $1 billion in client assets from JPMorgan.
The Nolan Group, based in New York, includes father-son advisor duo Michael Nolan and Brian Nolan, senior business associate Megan O’Connor, investment associate Courtney Shultz, and registered client associate Nichole Ross, RBC says.
“RBC Wealth Management has the right blend of resources, tools and support necessary to service the complex financial needs of our clients, along with a genuine commitment to putting the client first in all decisions,” Michael Nolan said in a release announcing the move.
Michael Nolan has been in the industry since 1983, when he registered with Goldman Sachs. He has also been registered with Morgan Stanley, Bear Stearns and JPMorgan, according to his BrokerCheck record.
Brian Nolan has been in the industry since 2009, when he registered with JPMorgan. He has also been registered with Gilder Gagnon Howe & Co., according to his BrokerCheck record.
RBC has been active in recent months. The firm has announced four other advisor additions since August, including another father-son duo. The firm says it has more than 2,100 advisors managing a total of $510 billion in client assets.
