Cetera Financial Group says three advisors with more than $550 million in total client assets have affiliated with Cetera Advisor Networks.

Nuno Pereira has joined from PlanMember Securities and specializes in serving union workers, providing retirement planning, pension planning and 401(k) guidance services, Cetera says.

Pereira, who has nearly $340 million in client assets, serves multiple generations and works with union leadership and local union members to provide retirement planning services, according to Cetera.

Pereira has been in the industry since 1996, when he registered with J.W. Barclay & Co., and has also been registered with Morgan Stanley, Wachovia Securities, Scarborough Securities and PlanMember Securities, according to his BrokerCheck record.

Jim Lohnes has also joined from PlanMember Securities. He leads Lohnes Wealth Management, which has $120 million in client assets and specializes in serving retiring telephone and utility union members, according to Cetera.

Lohnes has been in the industry since 1992, when he registered with Cadaret, Grant & Co., and has also been registered with Liberty Securities, FBS Investment Services, North American Management, Invest Financial, Commerce Capital Markets, Jackson National Life Distributors, NCF Financial Services, BB&T Investment Services, Investment Centers of America, Metropolitan Life, Great American Advisors, PrimeVest Financial Services, ING Financial Advisers, and PlanMember Securities, according to his BrokerCheck record.

Brenton Schmidt has joined from LPL Financial and has nearly $100 million in client assets, according to Cetera. Schmidt provides financial planning and wealth management services to clients, Cetera says.

Schmidt has been in the industry since 1999, when he registered with Wells Fargo Brokerage Services, and has also been registered with Raymond James, Investacorp, Investment Centers of America and LPL, according to his BrokerCheck record.
