Insigneo says it has lured a veteran financial advisor from UBS.
Peter Isern joins Insigneo in Miami and will partner with Gonzalo Milian in a bid “to serve and expand their global client base,” according to Insigneo.
Isern joined the financial services industry in 1994 and was registered with Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley, among other firms, before joining UBS in Miami in 2006, according to BrokerCheck. His focus is on investment consulting services, asset management strategies, estate planning strategies and retirement planning strategies, Insigneo says.
Milian has been part of the Insigneo network since 2018, having joined after stints at Raymond James & Associates and Morgan Stanley, according to the firm.
Collectively, Isern and Milian oversee $250 million in client assets and operate as IM Wealth Management, Insigneo says.
Insigneo is a dually registered broker-dealer and registered investment advisor firm. It currently has more than 330 investment professionals overseeing more than $13 billion for over 12,000 clients globally, the company says.
Last year, Insigneo also poached several financial advisors with international client rosters from Wells Fargo after that firm exited its international business.
