Rockefeller Capital Management has poached another Merrill Lynch financial advisor, this time in California.

The Hartford Group team, led by private wealth advisor Charles Hartford, has joined Rockefeller in San Diego, according to the firm.

The team, which also includes chief planner and operations manager Veronica Campanella and client associate Michelle Tardy, will report to Nathan Crair.

Hartford began his financial services industry career with Merrill in 2009, according to BrokerCheck.

Crair joined Rockefeller from Merrill in 2019, as reported.

Rockefeller is led by Gregory Fleming, former president of Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley.

Last month, Rockefeller also lured a team of Merrill financial advisors in Colorado. Another Merrill team joined Rockefeller in Texas last October.

In addition to Merrill, Rockefeller has added several advisors from Morgan Stanley as well as from UBS.

Rockefeller Global Family Office (including Private Wealth Management and Family Office), Rockefeller Asset Management and Rockefeller Strategic Advisory together oversaw around $95 billion as of the end of 2021, the company said earlier this year.
