FA-IQ reached out to advisors to ask: What are the top financial advice questions you are getting from your clients?
Joseph Polakoff, president at Keebeck Wealth Management. Chicago-based Polakoff has been in the industry for more than 20 years and has $1.6 billion in client assets.

Steven Tenney, founding partner and CEO of Great Diamond Partners. Portland, Maine-based Tenney has been in the industry for 28 years and has $700 million in client assets.

This involves all aspects of wealth management, including estate and tax planning, wealth protection, investment management and philanthropy, and is entirely unique from one client to the next.
We respond by establishing and maintaining a deep knowledge of our clients and collaborating and coordinating all aspects of their plan.”
Elizabeth van Walleghem, CEO and founder of Maximai Investment Partners. Miami and Coral Gables, Florida-based van Walleghem has been in the industry for 30 years and has $450 million in client assets.

We remind our clients that we are in this together and we are active communicators, very high touch, which means during periods of uncertainty in the markets we are actively hand-holding.
We have also seen an increase in client questions regarding crypto. We are very careful to walk clients through the high-risk nature of crypto, and while we believe that this is a compelling space, it’s not for everyone.
Education is key and that’s what we provide.”
