LPL Financial says it has integrated two key tools in its ClientWorks platform.

The Charlotte, N.C.-based RIA and independent broker-dealer has integrated its own account opening tool with AdvisoryWorld’s tool for generating proposals, according to a press release from the firm.

With the new integration, advisors will be able to populate the new account opening tool with AdvisoryWorld’s investment information as well as with client data from ClientWorks’ customer relationship management system, LPL says. The result, according to the company, “is a seamless experience for advisors using the tools, saving them time and making it even easier to perform the daily tasks necessary for client management.”

We know they want a choice in how they run their independent businesses,” Burt White, LPL managing director and CIO, says in the press release. “Giving advisors choice in the tools they use and empowering those tools further through ClientWorks Connected’s deep integration, helps them stay focused on their clients and build successful practices.”

LPL touts its continuous technology innovations as a major draw for advisors to join its platforms. The company’s technology, and ClientWorks in particular, is also often mentioned as an incentive by advisors who come to LPL from other firms.
