LPL Financial has picked up yet another team of advisors from a broker-dealer on the Advisor Group network, LPL says.

Fargo, N.D.-based Legacy Wealth Management, which includes financial advisors Paul Meyers and Brady Brunsvold, joins LPL’s broker-dealer and corporate RIA platforms, according to a press release from LPL.

They previously managed approximately $140 million at Woodbury Financial Services, which is part of the Advisor Group network of broker-dealers, LPL says.

Meyers, a former teacher, is returning to LPL after a 10-year break, according to the press release. He started his career in the financial services industry 28 years ago and was registered with LPL from August 2008 to June 2010, when he registered with Woodbury, according to his BrokerCheck profile.

“We are a very comfortable, cozy boutique firm, going as far as to bring our mascot — my dog, Lucy — into the office daily. It’s a warm and inviting atmosphere, with a fireplace, hot chocolate and friendly conversations with clients,” Meyers says in the press release.

Brunsvold began his industry career in 2015 at Edward Jones and registered with Woodbury in 2016, according to BrokerCheck.

Advisor Group broker-dealers have lost several advisors to LPL in recent months. Since September, LPL has nabbed more advisors from Woodbury and from Advisor Group’s three other broker-dealers -- SagePoint Financial, FSC Securities and Royal Alliance -- as well as from FSC Securities and a broker-dealer on the Ladenburg Thalmann network, which Advisor Group is acquiring. LPL lost at least one advisor to SagePoint during that time.
