Baird’s wealth management unit continues expanding, most recently adding an experienced financial advisor in Portland, Ore., the company says.

Brad Pease, managing director of the Pease Group, has joined Baird along with senior client specialists Paula Stiefel and Jenifer Thomas, according to a press release from Baird.

Pease has been in the financial services industry since 1980 and had been registered with Benjamin Edwards & Co. for seven years before joining Baird, according to his BrokerCheck profile.

Baird has been growing its wealth management footprint with experienced hires from larger rivals this year.

Earlier this month, the firm announced that it poached three veteran financial advisors from UBS and Charles Schwab.

In July, Baird also picked up a pair of advisors managing $125 million from RBC Capital Markets, and in the first half of the year Baird poached several brokers from Wells Fargo Advisors.

Baird’s private wealth management business now counts more than 1,300 advisors overseeing more than $200 billion from 160 locations in 33 states, the company says.
