On the heels of adding an RIA in California, Focus Financial Partners has added another one in Portland, Ore., the company says.

Hines & Warner Wealth Management has signed an agreement to join Focus partner firm Vista Wealth Management Group, according to a press release from Focus. Founded in 2007 by Earl Hines and Greg Warner, Hines & Warner serves high net worth families and individuals around the country, Focus says. The move will allow the RIA to use Vista’s operational capacity and resources while ensuring continuity of services for its clients, according to the press release.

The deal, the terms of which the companies didn’t disclose, is expected to close in the next quarter, Focus says.

For Vista, the acquisition spreads its footprint on the West Coast, according to the press release. Headquartered in Palo Alto, Calif., Vista’s other offices in the state are in San Francisco, Pleasanton and Santa Monica, with another office in Scottsdale, Ariz., Focus says. The deal with Hines & Warner is Vista’s first acquisition since it joined Focus last year, says Rudy Adolf, founder, CEO and chairman of Focus, in the press release.

Focus has been growing on the West Coast in recent weeks. Earlier this month, Focus partner firm Benefit Financial Services Group added Newport Beach, Calif.-based Stevens First Principles Investment Advisors. In February, meanwhile, Focus was expanding on the East Coast, with the addition of Darien, Conn.-based MacGuire, Cheswick & Tuttle Investment Counsel and Atlanta-based Anthony Smith Advisors, which Focus rolled into partner firm Patton Albertson Miller Group. The same month, Focus brought on Boston-based Foster Dykema Cabot & Co.
