UBS Financial Services has added a new financial advisor to a team in its New London, Conn., office, the company says.

Daniel Adams, Jr. has joined Adams Wealth Management from “a global asset management firm” where he’d been for seven years, first as an investment consultant and then as a regional director, according to a press release from UBS. He relocated to New London from Boston, UBS says.

UBS doesn’t disclose the name of the asset management firm from which Adams joins. Daniel Adams Jr. is listed as registered with UBS Financial Services at its 2 Union Plaza office in New London as of 2018 on Finra’s BrokerCheck.

Prior to UBS, Adams had been with Natixis Distribution in Boston for five years and Columbia Management Investment Distributors, also in Boston, for less than a year. Adams first became registered with Finra in 2012, with Morgan Stanley, where he spent less than six months, according to BrokerCheck.

UBS’ New London office also lists a Daniel Richard Adams, who’s been with the firm since 2013, after around five years with Morgan Stanley and 20 years with Merrill Lynch, according to BrokerCheck.

UBS doesn’t clarify whether Adams and Adams Jr. are related.
