UBS and Oppenheimer Lose Reps to this Rival
Michael Pascarella joins Stifel’s new office in Jamestown, N.Y., which is the company’s 13th in the state, according to a press release from Stifel. He previously managed $92 million at UBS, Stifel says. And Jon Uffelman joins Stifel’s new office in Birmingham, Mich., its 15th in the state, the company says in a press release. Uffelman previously oversaw $281 million at Oppenheimer, according to the press release.
“Financial advisors continue to join Stifel across our 360 private client offices because of a culture that supports them and their clients,” John Pierce, head of Stifel’s recruitment, says in the press release. “Culture is a true differentiator when advisors visit St. Louis to see our best-in-class capabilities tied to a laser focus on our financial advisors and their clients.”
Stifel has poached several advisors from large rivals in recent weeks. Earlier this month, the company nabbed several advisors from Merrill Lynch, Wells Fargo Advisors and Raymond James who collectively oversaw over $1.1 billion.
And in February, Stifel scooped up a UBS team overseeing $730 million.
